Rev. B. Anne Gehman, NST, CSE Pastor

Rev. Anne Gehman, founder of the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment, NSAC, began having psychic experiences as a child.  By the time she had finished school, she had gained wide recognition as a psychic and medium, and became the youngest person to be certified by the NSAC.  Anne is recognized worldwide as a psychometrist, clairvoyant and clairaudient.  Rev. Gehman has an NSAC National Spiritualist Teacher (NST)  Degree,  she is a Certified Medium, a Commissioned Healer, an NSAC appointed  Missionary.  She served on the NSAC Board of Trustees, and presently serves on the Board of MPI.   She was elected to the International Congress of Parapsychologists and Paraphysics in Prague, Czechoslovakia.  She has been featured in Jess Stearn’s books, "Adventures into the Psychic" and "Miracle Workers," and Harold Sherman’s “You Can Communicate With the Unseen World.” Anne is listed among the top 100 Psychics in the country, and has worked with the University of Arizona on a research study regarding after death communication, which is documented in the book, "After Life Experiments" by Dr. Gary Swartz & Linda Russek. She is also featured in a book about her life, "The Priest and the Medium" as well as the subject of several research projects.

Rev. Patricia Stranahan, ND, NST, CSE Assistant Pastor

Rev. Stranahan is a fifth generation Spiritualist, and ordained NSAC minister, National Spiritualist Teacher (NST), Certified Medium and a member of MPI, all through NSAC. She previously served on the national board of Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship International (SFFI), and Academy of Religion and Psychical Research. She has a Doctorate in Naturopathy and was the owner of the Natural Healing Center in Vienna, VA for seventeen years. For fun, she loves ballroom dancing, traveling, all art and reading novels.

CSE Ministers

Rev. John Otey

Reverend John Otey is an ordained Spiritualist minister, a National Spiritualist Teacher, a certified medium, a member of MPI, and serves on the CSE ministerial council.  He is a trance medium and also is a Reiki Master.  John is a columnist for "Psychic World" and his monthly column "Dispatches from America" is read by subscribers throughout Europe and the Americas.  He studies healing and trance at the Arthur Findlay College in the UK. 

Rev. Leonard Justinian

Rev. Leonard Justinian is an NSAC ordained minister, a CSE minister, and a CSE member who has served many years at the Church of Two Worlds in Georgetown. Presently Rev. Justinian teaches psychic development and mediumship, and gives readings in his Fairfax studio. He is also an accomplished watercolor artist and teaches classes in watercolor locally. His works hang in Canada, Tokyo, London and the United States.

Rev. Marilyn Awtry

The Rev. Marilyn Awtry holds credentials with the NSAC as a National Spiritualist Teacher and Certified Medium; served as a Trustee on its Board. She has served various churches, camps, and conventions throughout the U.S. Marilyn has become most noted as an author of 27 publications including 3 books—River of Life-How to Live in the Flow, Light from Beyond the Tomb, and just released Spiritualism & The Bible Connection; Co-author of the MPI original New Educational Course of Modern Spiritualism. She is a columnist for the prestigious English publication—The Psychic World; she has written for The National Spiritualist since 1969 and various other publications.

She served as co-pastor, and then as Pastor of the Church of the Spirit, Washington, DC for four years. She's been recognized in Who's Who of American Women, The World’s Who’s Who of Women l983/4 and Cambridge Who’s Who 2011. She holds memberships in the Lily Dale Assembly, Morris Pratt Institute and several organizations.

Rev. Awilda Abaza

Our speaker today is a NSAC Ordained Spiritualist Minister, a National Spiritualist Teacher, a Certified Medium, a former CSE board member, and serves on the CSE Ministerial Council. She is a 4th generation Spiritualist with an interest in Spiritual healing and religious studies. She is a Reiki Master and currently volunteers as a Reiki practitioner at George Washington University Hospital. She holds a B.S. degree in Business.

Rev. Konstanza Morning Star

Rev. Konstanza Morning Star is an NSAC Certified Medium, and a National Spiritualist Teacher. She immigrated to the United States from West Berlin at the age of twenty and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Tulane University in New Orleans. She is a Reiki Master. Her interests include trance mediumship, Native American history and spirituality. She joined the CSE in 2005. Konstanza is committed to comforting the bereaved by proving the continuity of life through evidential mediumship.  She gives mediumship readings, teaches mediumship and spiritual development classes, and offers a weekly development circle in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring area of Maryland.
