September Schedule
· September 18: Spiritual Book Presentations and Discussions Group will meet to discuss "The Priest and the Medium" with our own Reverend B. Anne Gehman. Dr. Wayne Knoll will play a double role - that of our group facilitator and co-subject of the book with Rev. Gehman! We're looking forward to a lively discussion! 7:30pm, $10
· September 25-27: Barry Goldstein, Grammy Award-Winning Producer, will be with us all weekend. He will hold an exciting “Sound Healing Circle” on Friday evening at 7:30pm for $25, and will be giving private, tailored sound healing sessions on Saturday. After Sunday service, he will conduct a concert of "Sacred and Inspirational Sound" after lunch at 1:00pm, $15. Barry has composed for NBC, ABC, Fox and Lifetime Networks.
· September 29: Spiritualism Defined and Your Psychic Development, taught by Rev. Anne Gehman begins a 5 week series on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm, $125. These experiential classes will assist the student in developing an understanding of the Spiritualist philosophy: What It Is, and What It Is Not. The classes also consist of expanding psychic ability as a basis for mediumistic unfoldment through lecture, discussion and meditation. Psychometry, dowsing and metal bending exercises are included.
Upcoming October Events
· October 4th: CSE Meetup Discussion Group on the topic of grief and loss from the Spiritualists' perspective. We hope you will join us for this meaningful exchange. 1:00pm
· October 17-18: Al Batten will be presenting a one-day workshop on the trance healing process for those who have a serious interest in advanced healing techniques. Enhance your skills as a healing medium and find out how this process has evolved to new levels with documented results! Look for more details to follow. 10:00am to 5:00pm
CSE Board Meeting
The next CSE board meeting will be held Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 p.m. in the CSE building, and is open to all CSE members. Making a Difference
· For those who could not make the trip to Lily Dale this year, Tom Hartigan has generously donated items from the Lily Dale camp for us to enjoy. These items include Lily Dale t-shirts, stadium blankets and backpacks, which we will be selling as a fundraiser during fellowship. Tom has also donated several books to add to our library collection. Thank you Tom!
· Also BIG thanks to Carol Caesar, who has continued to run to Costco for our cleaning and fellowship supplies. Way to go Carol!
· CSE would like to thank all those who have generously given time and effort over the last year for setup and clean-up after Sunday service. You have made Sunday services beautiful!
· We give special gratitude to Bill Barth who has held down the fort with his knowledge and skills of audio and electronic engineering and making sure our Sunday services are pleasing to the ear! In addition, Bill always has a bright smile to give! We appreciate you!
