About the CSE

Background
In 1980, Rev. Anne Gehman moved from central Florida to Virginia and wanting to continue with her ministry, she began to develop a clientele and interest in classes. She began holding Philosophy of Spiritualism and Spiritual Unfoldment classes in Fairfax, Springfield and Annandale.
A spiritual community developed from these classes and out of that was formed the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment charted by the NSAC in 1988.
Earlier services were held in Kings Park and later moved to a library. Finally, CSE made their home at the Women's Club in Falls Church. Four ordained ministers have evolved from within our church.
